Sweep is the pup we kept out of the Pearl x Kid litter. She has exceptional feel for her sheep, always placing herself correctly, and is fairly strong eyed with terrific balance. She is a strong, focused dog, but her biddability tempers her intensity. She is taking to driving quite naturally, and really likes to push the sheep. She is very challenging for me to train, as she is very intense, very quick, and reactive to the smallest nuances, but she is a lot of fun. She will teach me to be a better sheepdog trainer for sure!!
She is extremely quick to learn, very keen to work, quick and athletic, a lovely and naturally talented jumper, and has speed and intensity to spare. Like her mama, she is sweet and gentle natured. She has started serious stock training as of Jan 09, and we hope she will be ready to trial this summer. If Kevin ever finds the time, Sweep will also have an agility career, and hopefully be as successful as her talented sisters!
