CLINIC FEEDBACK
some of what people tell us about their training experiences with us.........

NOVICE HANDLING AND WEAVES CLINICS:
"Time flys when you're having a blast." Dawn & "Bug" Sheltie

" I liked the way you kept things moving with no lag time. I left tired and happy with my progress." Jim & "Z" BC

"I am REALLY excited about our weave progress and am looking forward to practicing what we learned! Your continuing enthusiasm, passion and  knowledge of the sport is truly inspirational!  The more I work with you the more inspired I am to not just ‘do agility’ but to look at the complexity of handling, training and teamwork needed to succeed. Thank you Leslie!   The time and energy you give to your students is just incredible!" Teri & "Liam" All American

"I left feeling exhilarated about some of our performances during the day—especially the ones we couldn’t do effectively (or at all) at first.  You stay focused on us long enough  for us to really “get it.”
"I always come away with the sense that we CAN really do it--and this is because you don’t let us stop until we succeed! " Susan & "Rosie" PWD

"Lectures were balanced with working/practice times so that they really didn't seem like lectures! "
"The clinic was very well planned and implemented!!!"
Barb & "Bet" BC

GET IN GEAR CLINICS:

"Really enjoyed it and came away with great information"
Barb & "Luca" PWD

"I am thrilled with what I learned, and I hope it works as well for me in running courses as it did during the seminar. Improving communication between me and my poodle is my highest priority, and to my amazement he responded to the methods you recommended." Esther and "Presto" Poodle

"..the clinic was terrific ... I was so
impressed with your positive, fun attitude right from the start." Nancy T., NY

"What I liked best--lots of opportunities to work the dogs, the progression of exercises, you demystified "the line" concept for me. The lecture was great." Ann & "Josh", BC

"I felt you did a great job of trying to help everyone who attended (not easy
with so many participants) and that you were willing to be flexible with
dogs who had certain issues. I found your explanations were good and your demonstrations wonderful.
Thanks for the info on getting tight turns out of the tunnel." Diane Bauman & "Jin" BC

"I wanted to say thank you for your patience...I found the seminar  was low key and pressure free...I was amazed at how quickly my dog caught on...
Judy Jo & "Taegan" BC

"You do a fantastic presentation of the information"
Sandi & "Bhrett" BC

"Excellent course! Thanks!"

"Great seminar, good individaul help, when is the next one?" Gail and "Sting" Border Jack

"I liked working on a couple of concepts at a time and then putting those concepts into a variety of exercises. It was fun and I ldid learn a lot! Thanks!"

"Leslie, this was great! You broke everything down into simple concepts, allowed time for questions and gave plenty ofindividual attention and feedback." Margo and "Siri" Aussie

"Wonderful 8 hours, gets down to the basics, which every team needs. Great info, terrific drills. Thanks!!"

"Each team got plenty of individual attention and extra help if they needed it. Each team dramatically improved their communication with their dogs by the end of the day.  Leslie encouraged everyone to develop a system of clear communication with their dog, and running our last sequence it was obvious that it was working well!"
Helen & "Noah" PWD

"It was a great way to spend the day. Learned a lot of new things. Would do it again" Lauren and "Penny" Golden

"Wonderful clinic, lots of good information, plenty of time to work your dog, all day seminar was very worthwhile.  Can't wait for the sequel :) " Dawn & "Bug" Sheltie

ADVANCED HANDLING CLINICS:
"Positioning....this seems to be something I've been working on forever and have had lots of instruction but for some reason this clinic finally made it "stick" and made me understand where I needed to be. I think any handler would benefit from a clinic like this.  Specifically novice handlers - if I had been instructed, or known, to do these types of drills earlier on to get them into muscle memory, I may have been a better handler earlier and my dog would already know what my body movements mean." Pam & "Frankie" Lab

"Having the group "talk out" the strategies for each course was great.  That way instead of you just saying "do it this way" while we sat and watched, the group could feel and try why a certain choice works or doesn't work without the pressure of the dogs." Chris & "Fiona" PWD

"I'd recommend this for any handler who has a tendendy to "flap" their way around the course  --this clinic is especially good for awareness of handler body parts & positions.  Great for any handler at any level with an open mind towards learning better handling techniques for:  front-crosses, rear-crosses, setting lines, serpentines, and keeping a soft eye on the dog.  A valuable clinic for working on performing consistent cues & consistent positioning to establish a better team relationship with one's dog." Barb & "Bet" BC

"..the handling you teach makes sense - to the student and to their dog. We have been practicing the exercises
and have seen big improvements in our runs.  We still have more work to do, but our runs feel a lot smoother." Tracey & "Stan" Am Staff

MASTERS HANDLING CLINIC:

"Great material and you really tried to get people involved in thinking things thru. It was a nice number of people too,  everyone got to work out each sequence and feel good about what they accomplished." Karen & "Reno" BC

"The clinic was great!   Best bang for your buck! Lots of good information." Noreen & "Sli" BC

"As a coach, Leslie can pinpoint our problems, help us work it out (and make it look easy) as well as give input that is both very appropriate for our dogs ability and our handling style.  It amazes me how she can analyze both the dog and handler at the same time!  Wonderful clinic, lots of helpful information (in an easy to understand format), plenty of time to work your dog," Dawn & "Maddy" Rough Collie
